Rolando is a very fun instructor. We were learning and laughing the whole time which made the immense lot of information a lot easier to digest. He helped me throughout with calming me down when I was anxious. He made sure we had enough time to finish everything (learning and practicing skills + exam). The whole experience was very easygoing! I would highly highly 10/10 recommend this experience to anyone looking to get their Open Water PADI certificate from Rolando and his team at Ocean Divers.

Roatán Ocean Divers was the perfect place to get my Open Water PADI certification. Rolando is a very knowledgeable dive master and explained everything in a clear and calming manner. I always knew what to expect going into a dive. I enjoyed the course so much I also did two fun dives with Rolando. He has a GoPro for rent which took great video and pictures. I hope I can come back to Roatán soon and dive with Rolando again!

My 10yo daughter got her Junior Open Water certification with Rolando at Roatan Ocean Divers. The experience could not have been better for her. He and the rest of the staff made her very comfortable in the water. They were patient and took their time explaining everything she needed to be a confident diver under the water. We had 4 other divers in our group that dove with them as well during the trip. We would highly recommend diving with them. Small dive groups and very attentive staff made the experience very relaxing.

Rolando was attentive, had great equipment, and patient. My dad and I had not dove in 2 years and he gave us a refresher course before diving Fish Den and Bikini Bottom. He pointed out rare drum fish and was respectful to the reef wildlife.
